WARDS Riverside, Benneli 250, runs well

Here is a rare  and unusual 1969 Wards Riverside 250cc trail bike

These were produced by Benelli and marketed in the USA through the Wards Riverside Department store from their catalogue

Frame # 8219 and Engine # HS11750 has had a new speedo fitted showing 2 mile

The bike has had some restoration, rims excellent, new tyres

The bike starts and runs nicely, electrics working

The downside is it has been hand painted with a paintbrush, looks very good BUT ??
