SUZUKI RE5 rotary, rare, low miles, runs and rides nicely SOLD

Just arrived is the 4/1975 Suzuki RE5 Rotary showing only 7643 miles

The bike is in amazing original condition , nearly 50 years old, with very little deterioration, some tarnishing to the alloy, a couple of small dents in tank

Frame # RE5-15064 and Engine # RE5-15099

The engine starts and runs well, we have test ridden the bike and it performs well, in saying that tyres are old, brakes work OK but should be serviced, carby and general tune and oil change  should happen at some point

Chrome is excellent, these were renound for poor chrome which pitted quickly but the chrome on this bike is excellent

The tank is very good, two minor pop in dents on l/h side which should pull out, inside tank is average, running on fuel with inline filter but eventually a good wash out would help

Fuel tape service with new seals and rubbers.

Rims are excellent, tyres are old

New battery, all electrics working

Whilst the bike presents very well and looks to be 100% original down to mirrors and handgrips we have not replaced any cables, hoses, etc etc
