SEARS, PUCH Split Single, TWINGLE, excellent condition SOLD

Just arrived is this rare and unusual 1967 Puch, manufactured by Steyr Daimler Puch in Austria

The unique split single engine design is based on two pistons one following the first one closely with a common combustion chamber, nicknamed Twingle

It is  250cc  it was branded as a SEARS and was sold in the USA by the Sears Department store through their catalogue

This example starts and rides well, no issues during our test rides

It is showing only 3291 miles and appears to be 100% original, correct numbers Frame # and Engine numbers match 1735273

Paint, alloy chrome all look original, showing signs of age and patina, still very good for a 55 year old bike
