KAWASAKI S1, KH250 running, original project SOLD

this nice and original 6/1973 Kawasaki S1, KH250 showing only 7036 miles would make a great restoration project

Frame # S1F-12163, Engine # S1E-12204

Bike starts easily and runs nicely, engine is quiet

The carbs have been done and ultrasonic cleaned

The rest of the bike is very original but untidy.

Ideal restoration, nothing to find except the Tank, it has two rust holes and we deemed it to be non repairable

Most of the stain on the engine is from the rotten fuel running out

There is also acid stain from the battery, surface rust on some parts

The chrome in general  is very good, rims and spokes acceptable condition, tyres are old

Sidecovers are original, all lugs there and no cracks

Seat is good, a small tear at the back

Mufflers are good, acid stain and small dent and minor surface rust

Have a good look at the pictures, look past the ugly appearance and there is great potential
