KAWASAKI KH400, S3 triple, engine rebuilt, just needs cosmetic resto SOLD

Here is one of the rarest Kawasaki triples a 1975 KH400, S3, very few ever produced

showing 8566 miles, Frame # S3F-29562 and Engine # S3E-029506

We have dismantled the engine, replaced bearings and seals in the gearbox as required, fitted new standard pistons and rings, gaskets etc, cleaned the carbs.

When we received the bike it was dry seized from sitting, once we looked inside it was decided to bring it back to life, bores were standard size and only needed a light hone.

The carby to airbox rubbers are had and shrunk in length these will need replacing, it was also missing the L/H sidecover

Tank is OK, paint old, inside is a bit rusty but should clean up OK, may need a liner,

We fitted a new seat cover, chrome is average but not too bad, exhaust chrome is very good

Ideal bike for a quick cosmetic restoration
