Here we have a nice and original ( except for exhaust ) example of an early 11/1971 Honda CB500/4

showing 22,545 miles, correct numbers Frame # CB500-1049321 and Engine # CB500E-1049769

untouched apart from anew seat cover, wrong exhausts, replica ones readily available to bring it back to correct

Tank has a liner but clean and very useable, paint original but old, faded and scratched, one sidecover is good the other is broken, I have a new unpainted molded plastic one to go with the bike

Has tool kit and handbook

As with all these 50 year old classics, they will need new tyres and a good service and check over

The bike is running and the engine is quiet, no smoke or rattles, we have test ridden the bike and nothing major showing up

Brakes should be serviced

The headlight shell is cracked, all the parts for these are readily avilable
