BMW R60/5 Toaster, rare model, looks very original SOLD

This is a rare 3/1972 BMW R60/5 Toaster, these chrome paneled models, called Toasters were only supplied to the USA.

This one is showing 48,364 miles, matching numbers 2942812

It is a true survivor, not a show bike, has marks and scraps as expected for over 50 years old

Tank is good, paint OK for age ( note these did not have stripes on the tank, only guards )

Original Steel chromed sidecovers, not reproductions

Alloy is OK, seat is original

Has new tyres and a new battery, all electrics working

We had the gearbox professionally inspected and new bearing and seals where required
