this nice original 1973 BMW R60/5 Toaster has just arrived, correct matching numbers 2948168 and showing 44,100 miles

It started straight up running on it’s own fuel and battery as it was shipped with.

It has a new front tyre, includes tool kit and tyre pump, rims are good, original mufflers, one has minor surface rust, also original mirrors

Included are Krauser pannier frames, carry rack and pillion back rest along with crash bars

The seat is original but has had some extra padding placed in the rider section

Tank is excellent, paint is original, with some dulling of the clear, no dents, original hand painted pin stripes

We have been riding the bike and we have found it has a whine in the clutch or gearbox area, not causing any problems but may need attention in the future

We would normally sell these bikes for about $11,900, I have priced this one at $10,700 allowing a few dollars to fix a problem if the gearbox needs an overhaul
