Here is a rare example of an original 1969 BMW R60/2 showing 58,878 miles, speedo not connected so maybe different

Matching engine, frame and tag 1815895

starts and runs OK, bit hard to start but will need a good service, R/H carb leaking, fuel tap leaking

Clutch, brakes, gears all working fine

Tank is OK could do with a rinse out but solid and good, original paint a few minor dents and scratches

Missing some wiring, no switches, ignition  switch needs work or replacing

Tinware very good, rims good, tyres are old

This is an excellent bike to tidy up and ride as is with patina or restore
