BMW R50S Rare, ideal restoration SOLD

Here is a very rare 1961 BMW R50S, only around 1600 of these were ever manufactured, a great survivor after 60 years

The bike arrived mostly dismantled, I have loose assembled it to make sure everything is there, there are some parts missing but nothing major

I have left the flywheel off, as there was an assembly boss supporting the rear of the crankshaft which stopped the flywheel from fitting

The bore is standard and in good condition as are the pistons which I have not fitted, also included are a set of new rings ( std )
