Here is a very nice, older restoration of a BMW R50/2 frame # 637434 coupled with an R69 engine # 652882, showing 9,274 miles

The bike has been a local Sydney bike for many years, regular rides ( The previous owner documented his travels, book is included )

The owner was a BMW enthusiasts, restoring many early BMW’s, having full factory tools, pullers etc etc for the rebuilding of the engines

Plese note the engine is stamped as an R69 but has standard R60/2 heads and barrels.

The bike starts easily and rides well, new battery, all electrics working

Paint is very good ,there is a blister in the paint on the tank, see pictures

Chrome, seat, rims all excellent

It has the rare larger capacity tank
