Here is a great project and worth restoring, a rare 1978 BMW R100S in faded red/black colour

Matching numbers #6163513, 56,913 miles

Has a range of nice upgrades, twin plug heads, Dyna electronic ignition, fork brace, heavy duty top triple tree, carry rack, Krauser panier racks.

Engine starts and runs OK, but should have a standard service

Tank is clean, has a couple of small dents, missing filler cap

paint is original but looking its age, ductail has poor paint as does the front guard

Overall a reasonable bike but just a bit untidy around the edges, will make an easy and worthwhile restoration
