BMW R100RS ( RS77 ) very original, rare first model Sold

Here we have a rare first model BMW R100RS, commonly referred to as the RS77, first of the RS full fairing bikes and has the unique blue front brake calipers

The bike starts and runs nicely, rides well

Previous owner told me he only used it on long distance highway travel

The paint is original ( 45 years old ) has some age and marks but generally very good

The R/H tapet cover has a gouge on the fins ( freight damage ) not accident

L/H muffler is starting to split at the end ( not leaking ), I do have brand new Mufflers available for $700 pair

The rims are nice, tyres look OK

New battery, all lights work

The bike didn’t come with panniers but I think I have a set that can go with it
