Here is a great opportunity to purchase a very iconic model BMW, a great investment at a great price

I have owned this bike for about 10 years, I purchased it in the USA, it has full Australian import approval for road use in any state in Australia

It is a 4/1997 BMW K1200RS with the iconic checker paint scheme, showing 42,840 miles, VIN WB10554A2WZA50260

I have had it sitting for many years with little use, I fitted a new fuel pump, filters and lines, , all electrics OK, not sure about the ABS or heated grips, but everything else works well

The bike starts and rides well, tyres have good tread but are out of date and will need replacing

The scrapes on the R/H side were there then when I purchased it, no ide what happened, but only a slight amount of gravel rash, no breakage, slow speed slide

Has heated seat which is height adjustable, pannier ( a scrape also on R/H side, and hinge damage on L/S not serious

Overall the bike is a very original example of a 25 year old classic

I still have an identical bike that I purchased in 1997 that I have  rideden many thousands of Km without any issues
