ABC Sopwith 1920 opposed 400cc twin, rare, full history rides well

Here we have a very rare and well documented 1920 ABC Sopwith, 400cc opposed 4 stroke twin

Built in conjunction with Sopwith the aircraft maker of Tiger Moth, Sopwith Camel

Frame # 2578 and Engine # 2534

Originally sold in Rhodesia and family owned for 3 generations, in the day a postage stamp was produced by the Rhodesian postal service using this bike in the photo

There is a lot of information out there on the internet, also a full folder of history with the bike, there is a very good article in a recent Old Bike Australasia

The bike starts and runs and test ride OK see video on ebay listing

There is a problem with the Kickstarter gear, slips ( worn teeth ) works sometimes, push starts easily

The gear is repairable, gears can be welded up and reshaped easily, see picture
