Here is an Australian delivered 1984 Honda VF1000R showing only 7787 Km
Frame # SC16-2001004 and Engine # SC16E-2001042
The bike has been sitting for a long time, last registered in VIC in 2013
It starts and runs well, engine sound good, we have done a couple of short test rides and all seems good, it should have a full service and fluid change at some stage
Tank is OK solid, some minor surface rust but inside, also a small dent and a couple of minor marks
Tyres are old
New battery, all electrics working
Bodywork is very good but as usual some narks and scraps and cracks, which were typical of this model
Has a 4:1 exhaust
The engine paint is grubby and could do with a good clean and touch up
The bike is not perfect but a very honest and original
